A CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO NIGERIANS AND THE FAMILY OF THE LATE FORMER PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI OVER HIS RETURN TO THE ALMIGHTY ALLAH SWT

A CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO NIGERIANS AND THE FAMILY OF THE LATE FORMER PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI OVER HIS RETURN TO THE ALMIGHTY ALLAH SWT

I humbly extend my condolences to the family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerians, over the passing of our beloved patriarch. The news of his transition from this mortal coil to the hereafter on Sunday, July 13, 2025, has undoubtedly left a void in the lives of those who knew him, particularly his family and Nigerias. May Allah SWT have mercy on his soul, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him the highest rank in Paradise, Jannat al-Firdaus.

As we reflect on the life and legacy of the late President Buhari, we pray that Allah SWT grants his family the strength and fortitude to bear the loss of their loved one. May they find solace in the divine decree and wisdom behind his departure from this world. We also pray that Allah SWT guides us all to live our lives in accordance with His will, so that when our time comes, we too can return to Him as faithful Muslims.

In this moment of grief, it's essential to remember the teachings of Islam that encourage forgiveness and compassion. As Nigerians, we call upon everyone to reflect on the life and service of the late President Buhari with empathy and understanding. We should strive to forgive him for any perceived shortcomings, just as we hope for Allah's forgiveness for our own transgressions. As the Islamic principle goes, when we forgive others, Allah SWT forgives us in return. May this spirit of forgiveness bring us closer to our Creator and to each other.

May the late President Buhari's legacy serve as a reminder of the importance of public service, leadership, and dedication to one's country. May his memory inspire future generations to strive for excellence and make a positive impact in our communities. May Allah SWT bless his family with patience, resilience, and divine comfort during this difficult time.

May Allah SWT grant the late President Buhari Jannat al-Firdaus and make his family and the entire Muslim Ummah bear the fortitude of his death. May He forgive us all and make us live and die as Muslims, adhering to the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah. Ameen.

To the current leaders of our great nation, I humbly advise that the departure of the late President Buhari serves as a poignant reminder of the transient nature of worldly power and position. As those who have been entrusted with the responsibility of governance, it is crucial that you learn from his journey and reflect on our actions. May you prioritize justice, fairness, and the welfare of the people you serve, rather than personal aggrandizement and self-enrichment. May you strive to make policies that uplift the downtrodden, empower the weak, and bring prosperity to all Nigerians, rather than perpetuating poverty and inequality.

Let the leaders of today, from the President to governors, senators, representatives, state assembly members, and local government chairmen, take heed of the fact that their actions have consequences that extend beyond their tenure. May they fear Allah SWT and conduct themselves in a manner that will earn them a favorable judgment on the Day of Reckoning. May they prioritize the needs of the people, listen to their voices, and work tirelessly to build a Nigeria that is just, equitable, and prosperous for all. May Allah SWT guide our leaders and grant them wisdom, integrity, and compassion. Allahumma amin 🤲.
